Yesterday evening it was too dark to see the beautiful setting of Rong Vean! But when I woke up, I saw the environment was very nice. A guesthouse in the countryside within a field of lotusflowers. In the rural village of Rong Vean the project Hope for the children provides English lessons to the children of the village. They also support a studenthome in Phnom Srok for girls and boys of grade 10, 11 and 12. In the week they go to the high school in Phnom Srok and after school they get some English, ICT and dance lessons (traditional Cambodian dance). 2 students primary education of VIVES university college are doing their internship here during february, march and april.
For the moment Laura works for Hope for the children and she has really a great positive spirit, good ideas for the project and lots of positive energy. She welcomes me heartly and we had some great talks about the project, the students, school and the village.
