After breakfast and printing some documents with learning aid materials, a student took me to some nice temples in the neighbourhood of Kampong Cham.

At 2
o’clock my workshop “Active leaning by active games” starts. After a speech of vice rector Mr. Sambo, 70 students
listen to the theoretical background. In the beginning they are a little bit
afraid of the interactive way of teaching but very soon they understand my way
of teaching. A teacher of English translates. Also other teachers are helping me with the
organisation of the games in the classroom.

After the theoretical background, we start with examples of active games with different topics. Please look to the page with all the supporting documents.

I feel that
a lot of students are happy and know what I mean with “Active learning by active
games”. It is very interesting to teach at the students.
After the
workshop every student receives a certificate of attendance. We takes a lot of pictures for good memories.

Before I
left to Prey Veng, with the deputy director of the other campus of the university,
Mr. Sambo (vice rector) got a birthday cake for tomorrow. A real party starts. And I couldn’t escape to the tradition to put
the whipped cream on the face.
Everybody
is excited. Happy Birthday for Mr.
Sambo, the Vice Rector!
